- 4 light background prints or solids
- 5 print fabrics (I used three orange, one brown,
one green)
• 7" x 7" base fabric
• 2" x 3" green wool
• 10" x 10" Hobbs or other thin cotton batting
• Approx. 2 cups of bird litter (crushed walnut shells
available at a pet store)
• 2/3 yard medium rickrack trim
• 7/8" brown button
• 7" embroidery hoop
• Embroidery needle
• Water soluble marking pen
• DMC floss:
- 315 purple - 3023 grey
- 400 dk orange - 3045 wheat
- 676 yellow - 3363 lt green
- 936 dk green - 3768 blue
- 938 brown - 3776 lt orange
• 6" glass dessert plate or cup cake stand
