Large has a finishing space up to 7 1/4 inches in diameter. This size would be nice when stitching the chart Snow Magical on 14/28 count fabric or 16/32 count fabric.
The small size has a finishing space up to 5 3/4 inches in diameter. This size would be used when stitching the chart Snow Magical on 36 or 40 count linen.
